WHAT THE EMPTY TOMB MEANS TO ME?

I love to celebrate Resurrection.   We all have specials symbols or memorabilia that make us pause and think.  The empty tomb is mine.   A tomb filled with hope.  Never to be used again by Jesus Christ.

In God’s economy, this empty means full, full of hope.  A belief that my circumstances, bank account, health challenges or personal failures cannot keep me down.  The empty tomb has set me free to not be defined by my sins or circumstances.

JESUS is not on the cross or in the tomb.  He rose just like He said.

Jesus overcame the grave and I will too — just like He said.  Jesus overcame sin by not yielding to it and I can too.  Rising from the grave after everything “LIFE” threw at him, I can too.

His battered body, grave clothes, entombment and soldiers standing guard could not keep Him in the grave, and neither could powerless satan.   He arose far above principalities and powers and so can I.

This season is an opportunity to get it right with God by believing in the shed blood of Christ alone for atonement for our sins.  There is nothing that can separate me or you from the love of God through Christ or the victory we have over LIFE through Christ Jesus.

He has risen just like He said and we rise too.

This is what the empty tomb means to me.
