IS THERE ANYTHING TOO HARD FOR GOD?

THOSE ADDICTED TO OPIODS AND OTHER DRUGS MAY THINK THAT THEIR ADDICTION ARE TOO HARD FOR GOD, BUT WE BELIEVERS SHOULD KNOW THE POWER OF GOD THAT IS ABLE TO BREAK EVERY CHAIN  AND OPIODS ARE NO DIFFERENT THEIR ANOTHER CHAIN.

IN MY NEIGHBORHOOD I SEE THE MEN AND WOMEN ADDICTED.   I SEE THEIR PAIN MENTALLY AND PHYSICALLY.  I SEE THE BLANK EXPRESS ON THEIR FACE AS THEY BEG FOR CHANGE FOR FOOD OR A HIT AND I SEE THEIR DIRTY FACES AND SMELL THE STENCH OF THEIR EMACIATED BODIES.  AND I THINK THIS IS NOT TOO HARD FOR GOD?

MANY URBAN AREAS ARE SURROUNDED BY CHURCHES, YOU CAN NOT DRIVE OR WALK IN ANY DIRECTION WITHOUT PASSING SOME KIND OF CHURCH, BUT THOSE WHO ARE ADDICTED DON’T ATTEND ANY.  A LOT OF US (BELIEVERS) DRIVE IN AND OUT;   ROLLING UP OUR CAR WINDOWS, MAKING SURE MAKING SURE WE DON’T LEAVE ANY VALUABLE ON THE SEAT OF OUR CARS, LEAVING THESE DRUG ADDICTED ZOMBIES IN THE SAME CONDITION WE FIND THEM.  BUT AGAIN IS THERE ANYTHING TO HARD FOR GOD?  Jeremiah 32:27

ADDICTION IS NOT AN EASY CHALLENGE BUT CHALLENGES ARE NEVER EASY, SOMETIMES OUR GREATEST CHALLENGE IS TO BELIEVE GOD.

What can churches do? Dr. Raymond Barfield, a pediatric oncologist at Duke said at a conference bringing together theology, medicine and culture “If you can get church leaders to begin to change the perception of these broken, fragile people who are in need of love and help and healing, it can have some significant impact.  Dr. Barfield went on to say, “churches can be really important to direct their own kind of community ministry. If you have 1,500 church leaders speaking to their communities about serving in a way that looks more like Jesus then you’ve got a bunch of people who may be able to reach out to people teetering on the edge.”

This would be an opportunity for our Christian community to bring our faith to action by working with those in the medical and business community for a comprehensive approach to addiction.

As individuals what can we do?  I personally know of God’s deliverance from addictions I knew were too hard for me to overcome.  God also blessed me with a few good friends that are also living testimonies of his ability to set free.

We all know of someone who has been delivered from alcohol or opioids I BELIEVE GOD BRINGS these walking talking testimonies into our life, at crucial times so we can speak boldly and with confidence that “THERE IS NOTHING TOO HARD FOR GOD.”

Sometimes GOD MOVES INSTANTEOULY and SOMETIMES its A PROCESS — A JOURNEY OF DAILY bringing our thorns in the flesh to Jesus and IT CAN HAPPEN ANYWHERE;  CHURCHES, BOARD ROOMS OR UNDER A BRIDGES,  DELIVERANCE IS POSSIBLE IF WE ONLY BELIEVE AND ACT.

I BELIEVE THE GREATEST CHALLENGE FACING OUR AMERICAN CHURCH IS NOT TERRORISM ATTACKS, GOVERNMENT REGULATIONS OR SOME OF THE OTHER THINGS RALLY AGAINST; BUT GETTING OFF THE PEWS AND SHARING THE GOOD NEWS OF JESUS CHRIST, INFECTING SPIRITUAL ZOMBIES WITH THE LOVE OF JESUS CHRIST WHEREVER WE FIND THEM.

THERE IS NOTHING TOO HARD FOR GOD!!!.

 JEREMIAH 32:27
